The dish is made from minced meat and differentiated from a galouti because of the secret blend of spices used during cooking.
Legend goes that there was a one-armed man named Tunda who created the dish. His recipe and technique have been passed on to his descendants, who run the popular stall at Aminabad in Lucknow today.
