Doma Wang, the Tibetan chef-owner of The Blue Poppy in Kolkata, is celebrated for championing what she calls Himalayan cuisine. Affectionately known as the “Momo Queen of Kolkata,” she has restored the authentic Tibetan origins of the momo, infusing her dishes with rich cultural heritage and vibrant flavors. Her success has earned her a near-cult status in the East and Northeast, where her culinary influence continues to grow.
